Phuket Island is Thailand’s largest island. Slightly smaller in size than Singapore, it is one of the 32 smaller islands off the west coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. The clear waters and white powdery sands make the sunny islands of Phuket a joy to visit. The key mode of transportation is the long tail sampans. They traverse the sea between the isles that litter the coast, bringing scores of sun seekers to the pristine beaches. As the sun set, the Long Tail Sampans turned into floating sculptures - just the perfect subject of a sunset scene. The FE 24-70mm F2.8 G Master lens’ excellent colour rendition meant that the beautiful hues of the sunset were faithfully captured. At F22 and 3-second shutter speed, the gentle bobbing of the seawater turned into a sheet of milky mist.
