A country full of cultural and natural wonders, Malaysia offers a multitude of photographic experience for adventurous photographers. From the streets of Georgetown to idyllic islands, she’s got them all.
Strolling along the streets of George Town is an education in local history, as every building tells a story through its weathered structures and unique ornamentation. It is no wonder that George Town is one of UNESCO’s world heritage sites. The FE 16-35mm F2.8 G Master wide-angle zoom lens was ideal in capturing the vibrancy of Penang culture around George Town. The high-resolution offered by the lens allowed me to shoot dynamic backgrounds with immaculate detail. Coupled with its compact size and near-silent autofocus motor, it was the perfect lens for street photography. The icing on the cake was the excellent flare suppression, especially when I had to consider the street lights while photographing and corner-to-corner sharpness.
